On November 11-13, 2022, Mr. Arman Tatoyan, the Director of the Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” Foundation, made a speech in Los Angeles at the international conference organized by the Artsakh Heritage Committee of the American Western Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church dedicated to the human and cultural security prospects of Artsakh/Nagorno Karabakh.
Mr. Arman Tatoyan presented the basics of the right to self-determination of the indigenous people of Artsakh, an inseparable part of the Armenian people.
Evidence justify existence of an ongoing policy of Armenophobia and animosity sponsored by Azerbaijani authorities.
Mr. A. Tatoyan emphasized that consequences of Armenophobia sponsored by the Azerbaijani authorities were visible during the wars started by Azerbaijan in April 2016; the 44-day war in 2020; and September 13-14, 2022. These wars resulted in torture of civilians and servicemen; mutilation of bodies of servicemen; and inhumane treatment of prisoners of war.
The right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh has no alternative. This is the only way to guarantee the rights and security of Artsakh Armenians.
His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian gave a special message addressed to the participants of the workshop.
Experts from different countries of the world participated in the conference.
