Arman Tatoyan, the director of the Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” Foundation and co-presidents of the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention, Irene Victoria Massimino, and Elisa von Joeden-Forgey signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The purpose of the memorandum is the genocide prevention and promotion of restorative justice.
Within the framework of the memorandum, joint fact-finding activities and cooperation in the field of human rights protection will be carried out, as well as preparation of reports and other research activities.
There will be events such as conferences, capacity development of both staff members, and workshops, which are also aimed at raising global awareness of genocide prevention.
It is planned that joint activities will be carried out at international platforms, to promote accountability for human rights violations and crimes under international law, humanitarian law, etc.
