During the press conference, Arman Tatoyan presented exclusive facts regarding Azerbaijani armed attacks on Artsakh (by villages and cities), the directions of armed advancements and the Azerbaijani mechanism of targeting communities, deliberately isolating them from each other, and causing sufferings to people.
The facts clearly prove that the Azerbaijani armed servicemen isolated the major communities of Artsakh: Stepanakert, Martakert, Martuni and Askeran from each other. Moreover, armed attacks were carried out in these 4 directions.
They did this for a specific purpose. Thousands of people have lost contact with their families because of this strategy. In this way, the Azerbaijani authorities intentionally caused panic and chaotic situation. Moreover, the facts prove that the Azerbaijani side has targeted civil infrastructures of vital importance for people. For example, they immediately seized the water supply system of Stepanakert city, due to which it was not possible to filter drinking water and people had to drink cloudy water.
Apart from all this, the Azerbaijani side targeted the communities with artillery and air strikes, which resulted in two dozen victims and hundreds of wounded civilians (Stepanakert, Sarnaghbyur, Vardadzor villages, etc.). There have also been recorded cases of civilian killings (for example, on the road from Stepanakert to Harav village, a grandfather who was going to find his grandson was killed in a civilian car).
The presented facts were collected starting from September 19.

The evidence presented in the form of maps that the Azerbaijani authorities intentionally carried out the ethnic cleansing of the Armenians in the conditions of the Azerbaijani ongoing genocidal policy based on hatred of the Armenian ethnic identity (Armenophobia).
