Director of the Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” Foundation had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to the Republic of Armenia

Arman Tatoyan, the director of the Center for Law and Justice “Tatoyan” Foundation, had a meeting with H.E. Mariano Vergara, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina to the Republic of Armenia, on November 22. 

During the meeting, Mr. Arman Tatoyan presented activities of the foundation: strengthening democracy and the rule of law in Armenia, ensuring mutual respect, pluralism and public solidarity in society, ensuring connections between Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora, etc. 

Arman Tatoyan provided information to the Ambassador about the violations of the rights of border residents of Armenia as a result of Azerbaijani criminal acts, such as armed invasions and unlawful armed locations, with concrete examples and facts. 

In addition, the previous effective cooperation with the Embassy of Argentina was emphasized in various issues of human rights protection, including the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. 

The Ambassador highlighted the importance of the cooperation. The parties of the meeting expressed their willingness to strengthen and expand further cooperation related to the protection of human rights, strengthening the rule of law and other areas of mutual priority.
