Azerbaijan uses Armenian prisoners of war (PoW) side illegally kept in Azerbaijan for its political and military interests. In fact, people are being used for bargaining, human trafficking purposes. According to the figures confirmed by the Azerbaijani authorities, there are currently 33 PoWs in their country, while reliable evidence confirms that there were more PoWs from the beginning․The Azerbaijani authorities are responsible for their lives.
